Directions to Grand River County Park

*****07/29/09***** This box is missing****to be replaced

Grand River Park is located on 28th Ave. off Fillmore St. in Georgetown Township. It can be reached of I-196. from the Est, exit at #69B, merge onto Chicago Drive (M-21). From the West, exit at #69. Turn left at the bottom of the ramp. Proceed West on Chicago drive to Cottonwood Dr. (2nd traffic signal). North (right) on Cottonwood. At next traffic signal go straight. Follow Cottonwood and it will take a turn to the left and turns into Fillmore. Second street on the right is 28th Ave. Follow it almost to the end. The entrance to the park is on the left.

Park in the NW parking area. Start quest from the information sign.
2 to 3 and on to 4
A quick trip through the field
Back into the trees
Number 4 comes into view...which way to go? 4 X 2
(Note ALL the numbers on this post)
The view is "grand"
After a walk in the meadow on the path that was made
Get off the path and go into the shade
Look at and remember the numbers
You see on that post to your right
Up to the ridge and mind the signs
Looks like a Woodpecker's favorite stump on the right
That's not how you spell "zero"
Pass LW EM JK SF
Before you leave the forest...an interesting U shaped Beech
Add all the numbers you noted from both of the posts, add 180
With the U shaped Beech at that heading,
Now...add the bottom two on the second plus the middle of the first.
That sum times the top of the first. That product times 1/4 the sum of the top and bottom of the first and the top of the second. Answer to your ciphering = degrees of the trail to follow.
From the tall cyclops (where love is professed), take paces equal to the product of the two arrowed numbers from the first
Top number from the second is the number of paces at 235 degrees
TAH DAH! Your prize.
Going back, pass by the u shaped Beech and into the meadow
6 to 3
Parking lot, trail at 100 degrees

If you want to go to Hager Park from Grand River Park, 28th Ave. doesn't go through. Turn left (East) from 28th Ave onto Fillmore. Fillmore to 24th Ave turn right South). 24th Ave. to Bauer Rd. turn right (West). Bauer Rd. to 28th Ave. turn left (South). Park entrance on left.
