Hartrick Park
Okemos, MI
Park is located just behind the Okemos High School track

We love Michigan, because of the hot summer, colorful autumn, snow covered trees in winter, and fragrant flowers of spring.

Clues:
Box 1
Enter the trail at seasonal trail advisory sign. Follow the rocky path towards the woods. At the first fork continue on the rocky path to the right. Just ahead, a wooden trail marker will be pointing in the wrong direction. Continue straight on the path 15 paces from the trail marker and look above and to the left to see a ‘V.’ At the base of a tree that makes this ‘V’, you will find winter.

Box 2
Continue on the path in the opposite direction you just came from. You will come to a another fork in the trail. Walk six paces to the right. On the left you will see boulders arranged in a circle. Walk 13 paces into the woods and you will find spring hidden along a downed tree in a pile of boulders.

Box 3
Continue on the path towards the blue info sign. At the bench sit and take a rest. Once you are done sitting walk straight from the bench 14 paces to a tree behind two trees together that make a ‘V.’ Here you will find summer.

Box 4
Once you return box 3, take a right at the fork in the trail. Read about ‘grandfather trees.’ When you are finished reading continue on the trail 18 paces. To your left you will see two rotten stumps. Within one of these stumps you will find fall.

Continue on the path and the trail will end near the parking lot.

Thank you for visiting our very first letterbox! We were very excited to make it, and hope that you enjoyed your time finding the boxes.
