(Note: The hike I am about to describe is fairly easy. Can't be more than a mile or so and it is mostly gravel road and hiking path until you reach the small hill.)

Pull into the parking lot of Edward R. Murrow Park in Pawling, NY. On the right, there is a gravel path that goes up the hill (to the right of the bathroom building). Take that path all the way to the top of the hill where there is a pavilion (there is a fireplace and lots of graffiti). Enjoy the view of the hills and the lake from the top of the hill while you are up there.

Just beyond the pavilion you can see a hiking trail. There is a broken metal gate and a sign that reads, "No Motor Vehicles." Take this path into the woods.

Very soon you will come upon a fork in the trail. Take the left, more overgrown route.

Walk until you reach a large tree that has fallen across the path (FYI: there is plenty of room to walk underneath it - the path is not obstructed). You will continue straight on this path and pass large rock "cliffs" on your right hand side. Immediately after passing these cliffs, you will make a right turn off of the path. This turning point will be approximately 50 steps past the fallen tree. Go up the hill until you reach the only pine tree in the area.

In front of you there will be another row of large, jagged rocks. Go approximately 25 steps to the left of this pine tree, staying close to this row of rocks.

The box is hidden in a recess in this row of rocks, toward the left side. There is a smaller removable rock covering the opening. Poke around and see if you can find it - it blends in pretty well!

Note: If you come upon the small hikers' "hut", you have gone too far. The rocks where the box is hidden is one "level" below where the hut is located.

Good luck! Hope you like it and can find it.
