Directions: Drive about 4 miles east of Clayton, Idaho on Hwy 75/26 and turn right just after crossing the East Fork of the Salmon River. Drive about 20 miles along this road to a fork in the road: Livingston Mill Road to the left and Railroad Ridge to the right with sign “4WD: NOT ADVISED FOR TRAILERS OR CARS.” You should be able to drive a car up to this point, but 4WD is recommended, especially if you go all the way to the top. About 10 miles to the box is not paved.

Description: Driveby, BUT, 4WD advised. Not recommended during rain or snow. We intended to drive all the way up to RAILROAD RIDGE, but ran out of time so stopped at the clues and headed back to camp. We will return one day to complete our mission.

Clues: At base of wooden RAILROAD RIDGE sign with yellow ATTENTION sign beneath it. Bottom, front, left under several smaller rocks is what you seek. Please rehide well otherwise you take the fun away from others.
