The J is for Jenner Letterbox exists because I fell in love with Courney Davis’ Celtic Dog letters and I’ve copied the “J.” The letters were inspired by The Book of Kells and the Lindisfarne Gopels. If you would like to read about these amazing and beautiful works go here:

Head on up or down to Jenner at the mouth of the Russian River on the Sonoma Coast. To find the J is for Jenner Letterbox drive approximately five miles north of Jenner on Highway 1. Pull in at the Sonoma Coast Vista Trail which is clearly sign posted and has a nice parking lot and when I visited the cleanest port-a-potty in the Western Hemisphere.
Find the informational sign right off that parking area and head down the trail behind the sign. At the first fork turn right. At the second fork turn left. Stop at the second picnic table and hope no one is picnicking. Stand with your back against the SW end of the table. Walk about sixteen steps at 250 degrees. Look down. At the right side of that boulder, in the space between it and another smaller boulder under some even smaller rocks I hope you will find the J is for Jenner Letterbox.
Please close everything up carefully, double-bag the book and make sure all the bags are inside the box.
Thanks for coming!!
