Our great-grandparents immigrated to the US from Russia. They first settled in Bayonne, NJ but then moved to upstate New York to farm. They first attended church on Steele St. in Herkimer but then built a new church on Route 5. This church and religion hold so much history and tradition for my family that we wanted to share it with you. This is our first letterbox : )
Clue:
Find the church with 3 golden cupolas. Once you have found the church, park in the parking lot. Find the year it was built. With the date in front of you, follow the sidewalk to the back of the church. On your left you will see faith, love, and hope. Now, go to the corner. With the small garage in your sight take a compass reading of 30 degrees. You will see a group of 5 skinny trees. You will find the golden cupola letterbox at the base of one of the trees. If you turn around you will have a beautiful view of the golden cupola on the top of the church.
Please rehide well.
NOTE: bring your own ink pad and pen
