Kooky Kayaker
There was a kayaker who was traveling around the Rockford area looking for rivers to kayak down. He had kayaked the Rock River and the Kishwaukee River and knew that there had to be more to offer.
One day as he was driving down Alpine road with his Kayak strapped to the top of his vehicle, he noticed a big dam smack dab in the middle of a park called Aldeen. He just had a feeling that he had stumbled upon a great find, even though the ground around the dam was dry there had to a river that ran through here.
So he decided to take his kayak down by the dam and wait for a big rain to come and sweep him down the river. So he parked in the first parking lot on the right, walked down to the baseball backdrop looked towards the dam and walked to the fourth tree south. He decided to wait here in the shade until that big river flowed again. He is still waiting today in the shade of this big somewhat hollow tree.
Have fun riding the waves with the Kooky Kayaker.
Make sure to hide under bark when done.
