Mystery Trail

Clues:

This Letterbox is hidden on the “Rayhill Memorial Trail” off Middle Settlement Rd., near the 840 ramps and Oneida County BOCES. Turn into the BOCES entrance and then R. into the parking area for the trail.
(Near-by letterbox—“Nature’s Treasures” currently missing)

Bring your ink pad, stamp and pen along with some water, and a snack if you like and enjoy the sights of nature on the trail as you search.

To start your adventure, follow the path around to your right.
• Bench on the Left
• Pond on the Right
• Between the trees
• Around the corner
• And out of sight
Sit for a moment to reflect and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you.

Turn Left and follow the trail until you see calm waters on the Left.

Up ahead you will see a 2 mile marker. As you travel along do not be tempted by the path to the Right.
(Beware you may see a snake or two)

Don’t forget to look up to the sky where the lines of power cross your path.

Continue past the trees of green and cool your self in their shade.

As you walk watch your feet there is a quarter and three quarters of a surprise on the path to challenge your mind.

There isn’t rain all year round but if you look to the left here is where it’s found.

• Houses on the right.
• Green sign on the left
• With facts about wetlands.
• And all the rest.

Read the sign, look between the lines, find the pines, and look inside!
