-From route 12 turn onto Franklin street (right if comming from Port Leyden/Utica, left if comming from Glenfield/Watertown)
- Then take immediate left and continue onto Franklin Street until your first right onto Laura Street.
-Turn onto Laura street and continue straight until you come to a Y in the road just past Otis Technology and Caboodles Child Care Center.
-Stay left at the Y
-Continue straight past Toth Enterprise on your left
-You will come to a hiking trail sign on your left, Park there (
If you pass a white house on your left you have gone too far
-Take the hiking train by foot
-Cross a small bridge and follow hiking trail markers (crossing a couple homemade bridges made of logs)
-Soon you will go around a bend to the right continue walking.
-You will go up a steep hill all the way to the top.
-At the top find a tree with carvings on it on your left.
-Turn around and face where you just walked and walk 20 paces backward.
-Stop and look to your left you should see a hiking sign on a tree (it is yellow)
-On you right should be a tree with a huge cut down the side (looks like it was hit with lightening)
-Our Caboodles box will be on your left under the hiking sign on the ground under a large piece of bark.
