(Alive and well 7-30-04)
Trail Difficulty: easy (scrambling over a few rocks at the end)
To find this box you must start in a very large and famous meadow in a very famous park. Park near the "pothole". Follow the trail along the west edge of the meadow till it meets up with the river. Continue along the trail to the sound of rushing water. Follow the trail (scramble over rocks) to the beautiful area of pools and slabs. Find the young pine closest to the south shore of the river. Follow the smooth path accross the slab. At the end of the smooth path look for the dead tree at 300 degrees. To the left of the tree scramble up to the top of the small dome. On your way up look up the large crack and tucked behind a stone is your catch of the day. (If you reach the top you missed it.)
