Please rehide our boxes better than you found them.
Begin at the southwest corner of the 3rd parking lot you encounter. You should see a picnic shelter close by. Go to this shelter and begin from the west end. You will see a giant oak in front of you and a sign asking your four-legged friends to stay off the beach. Climb the never-ending hill up, up, up. Once you’ve reached the top you will see a reminder that only you can prevent forest fires on the left. The ground begins to soften underneath your feet, another small climb until you reach a clearing with a breathtaking view of the lake. Go down to the beach if you like or veer northeast if you wish to climb to the top for an even better view. Once letterboxing is back on your mind, turn and go back the way you came. Continue on this path until you spot a deer trail on your right. If you’ve spotted the ground fires sign again, you’ve gone too far. Follow the deer trail until you come to a log across the trail. Look for the remains of a fallen beech tree at 160 degrees. Look for the part of the log that goes together like a puzzle. Do you see the set of eyes staring back at you? Look under them to find out what campers appreciate most.
After rehiding the box well, you can go back down the deer trail and return to the parking lot or continue down the deer trail until you reach another trail. Turning left will return you back to the parking lot, right will take you to the beach.
