Green Lane Park is located off Rt29 in Green Lane, PA. It is a beautiful park with a large reservoir with fishing and boat rentals available. There is a very nice camping area also available (first come, first served). During the summers they show Movies Under the Stars and on the first weekend of September there is an Irish/Scottish Festival with food, contests and dancing. Check out the park.

Difficulty: Moderate. This is mostly trail walking but it does get off trail at the end.
This trail gets pretty wet. Boots are recommended.

This is the third time I have carved and planted this box. Each time a new stamp and a new location. So if you found it before, this is a new one.

Park in the main parking lot, opposite side from the playground. Head over the small stone wall and look for a Nature Trail to Falls sign. Follow the trail to the bottom, then bear right, downstream past the falls.

Look for the “eagle rock” on your right.
Well, looks like an eagle to me.
Continue on the trail, following the Perkiomen Creek. Trail becomes very rocky for a while.
You will eventually cross a small runoff stream.
Then over a large log across the trail.

You are now back right along the creek bank. Look for a large single rock right on the bank, surrounded by dirt.
With your back to this rock, look uphill, away from the creek for a large leaning tree. Check out the left side roots for a small green tree frog. Please recover well.

Please send me a report if you find this one. I am concerned about wetness.

If you have time, go look for our other boxes, The Blue Butterfly and the Little Lady Bug.

Hope you had fun.
