Take State Road 1 to Blooming Grove. Turn left at the first 4-way intersection towards New Fairfield. The road is called Fairfield Causeway. You will pass Swift Road, Saltwell Road, and Updike Road before you cross the Brookville Lake. When you cross the lake, you will pass the Franklin County Water Tower. Continue on Fairfield Causeway past Cemetary Road. Turn right on Franklin Church Road. The Old Franklin United Bretheren Church, built in 1831, is your destination. To the South side of the church, walk up 7 rows. Find Christina Masters (Aged 74). North of her grave is a weathered tombstone with a hand pointing straight up. Walk straight into the parking area. To the south is a tree with a hole in it. Look in the hole under a log for the Treestone box.
