Beware the giant chipmunks of Beaver Island! Dare to venture into their woods to find this letterbox!
To start your venture, make your way to the CMU Biological Station. On East Side Drive there is a CMU sign that leads to the Paula Simpson and Roy Waters Memorial Trails. If you would like a map, they can be obtained from outside the Station's office.
At this point I recommend putting on some bug spray. You will need it unless you have skin of steel.
After the third trail marker you will happen upon a three-way split in the trails. Just to the north of the split lies a downed tree. Climb through the raspberries and chipmunks to get to the roots. Under the roots in the hummock of this tree lies your treasure!
