Rattlesnake Creek is a great place to spend a day and have some great fun hiking and/or biking your way around. The part of the trail this box is hidden in allows no pets, but there are other parts that do. Please pay attention to signs if you decide to bring your pet with you.
To get to Rattlesnake Creek, exit off of I90 at the Van Buren exit and head to the hills. You will continue up Rattlesnake creek and eventually turn left onto Sawmill Gulch. The 1st, and main, parking is not what you are looking for. Instead continue on, but avoid the private drive, and make a right at the fork to end at another trailhead, Sawmill Gulch.
Once there, face the way you came in. You'll spot an unmarked trail (but very well traveled) that takes you back to the main trailhead. At the start of the trail find your first broken pine. At it's base and under a rock you'll find an item needed to make this hike.
