Off Rte. 28N, beyond the parking lot for Mt. Goodnow, hike the trail for approximately 30 - 45 minutes through the hilly meadows and rocky woodlands...while singing along to the "David the Gnome" theme song...looking for the place that David and Lisa could live.

Clue: Once you reach the boulder that is being attached by the alien willow tree, climb on top of the massive rock. With your back to the top of the mountain trail, scan the area below. Trail marker "D" will be in your sights and you will notice a hallowed-out structure that appears to be a fine place for David the Gnome to reside. Deep inside lies Swift...the letterbox.

(Lore has it that gnomes live in three trees, the house itself, with a hidden entrance from another tree and then a third tree is the supply room with grains, beans, potatoes and everything else the gnomes may need during the winter.)
