Al "Boots" Hollingsworth was a pitcher in the Major Leagues for 11 years, with the Reds, Phillies, Brooklyn Dodgers, Washington Senators, St. Louis Browns, and White Soxs. He won the American League pennant with the Browns in 1944 and pitched in the World Series that year. He later served as a pitching coach for the Cardinals for 2 years. He pitched in 315 regular season games, winning 70 games and losing 104, with a 3.99 ERA. He died in 1996, and is resting in Wimberley Cemetery, in Wimberley, Texas.

Directions:
From Cypress Creek in middle of Wimberley, go south on Hwy 12. Turn left on FM 3237 and go to 2nd street on left. Turn left on Old Kyle Rd and then a quick right on Blue Hole Rd. Cemetery is on your left. Go to the last entry on the left. Soon, stop at "Smith" tombstone on your right. Park.

To the Letterbox:
Walk right (away from "Smith") toward the rock boundry and the yellow sign saying "9/10". Once at the wall and sign, look right along back side of the wall for a rock about 6 inches long and 8 inches wide. Box is under this loose rock, near back side of wall rocks.
