This Letterbox is co-listed on Geocaching.com as a Letterbox Hybrid. There are separate logs for geocachers and letterboxers.
Start your search in Hammond, Oregon.
Travel Westbound on Pacific Drive (the main street through Hammond.)
At the 4-way stop and the end of Pacific Drive, Turn Left onto Lake Drive.
There is the Entrance to Ft. Stevens on the right about 1/2 a mile south.
At the entrance to Ft. Stevens (there are two large gray concrete blocks on either side of the road), Turn Right.
Continue on the road past Battery Russell, and Past Parking lots A and B.
Continue past parking lot C.
After parking lot C, take the next left.
You will arrive at a beach access road (you can drive onto the jetty beach from here.)
At the end of the end of the road, look for the biggest dead tree on your left. Low and around the back is where the box lies.
