This series was carved by Jim. It represents the first signs of the seasons as seen by the carver. We sincerely hope that you enjoy finding this series as much as we enjoyed developing it....(2hearts1).

Box #1; Spring

Start at the main parking lot at Spencer Butte. Park and walk, NO...,try it again,.. park and WALK up the main stairs. When you come to the outhouse, take the trail behind. Pass two message boards explaining the "Challenge Course" rules. It's a quick read, if you wish. Stay on the gravel path. Veer not, to the right, nor to the left. Come to a bark area with a seven-log circle. Go right to a trail in the rear. Down three "steps". Here stands a tall Fir to your right. Behind this tree is hidden a short, mossy stump. Look in it's "slot".

Box #2; Summer

Back to the seven-log circle, and the gravel path. Follow the trail till you come to a path on the right. Go right toward a structure. Follow the perimeter rails around to the rear of the structure. See the platforms...up? Up...there it is!!! Not really...Do you see another gravel path? Take it and keep going to the right. Walk to where the gravel turns to bark. Head straight across the bark to another trail, rails on both sides. eight steps, see the church tree? It's "holey". In the stump.

Box #3; Fall

Back the way you came. Follow the rails around to the right. Come to another bark cul-de-sac with three poles at it's center, and maybe some tires. Stand with your back to the first pole, looking between the other two poles in front of you. Walk between these two poles to the log in front of you. Look behind and under the log, near the middle.

Box #4; Winter

Leaf Fall behind and just follow the rails right. At the stump seat, count two evergreens. Behind the second evergreen, under it's knuckle, find Winter.

Thanks for playing. And, happy boxing!
