Background: I first came to Door County with my oldest sister Grace in 2000 for my birthday. We traveled the lighthouse tours seeing the sites taking a boat ride and reveling in the attractions. While staying in Sturgeon Bay we went "exploring" and found this location on the West side of the Peninsula looking out at Sturgeon Bay and Green Bay. We both fell in love with the view. If you look carefully you can see the "light".

Clue: Take Cty Hwy B north of Sturgeon Bay to the Old Stone Quarry Boat Launch. Park across from the boat launch in the overflow parking lot. Take the time to look at the quarry remains, many of the buildings in the area were made with this stone. Park your vehicle and cross the road (be careful to watch for traffic) and proceed to the remains of the Mueller. Make sure to take the time to read about this ship. Walk back to the stairs and proceed to the first landing and take a left onto the grass. Walk down the the third tree on your right and face the tree with your back to the water. Take six paces to your right, the box is located behind tenth plant hidden behind the lowest stone on the retaining wall. Carefully remove the box and re-hide when you are completed. I don't live in the area so I don't know when I will get back please let me know if there are any issues.

I hope you enjoy my first stamp and if you look back out at the water you should be able to see my inspiration for the stamp located across the bay lighting the way for the boats and their passengers.
