On this island there does lay
a secret staircase for all to play;
Where shadows fall from fortress walls
and overhead for all to hear -
thunder calls loud and clear;
Between the place bikes go for keeping
and native people once went sleeping,
find the entrance you are seeking;
Have you found the stairway yet?
If not, please search some more, but do not fret,
for one must think to break this code -
a sharp mind is all that's owed;
Near the stairway that you seek
stands a man that does not speak;
straight and tall of iron coat,
he stares upon the boats that float;
Is this staircase real you say,
or just a bluff to pass the day....
Author: J. Garzoni
Now that you’ve found the staircase (from the clues in the poem above)
Climb to the top of the stairs
And veer to the left of the walking white man
Then up you go to the fork in the trail...
Stay on the right track for 35 paces...
Stop and look right to find the last clue of "J"...
The hidden box lies beneath it.
Send us a postcard (in the box) and say 'Hi'.
