This Letterbox is part of my CT Quickies Series. (#13)

The other day I was running errands and wished I could be letterboxing. The weather was sunny, warm, and I thought to myself wouldn’t it be great if you could do both? So I decided to plant some boxes in traveling paths. Maybe you could grab these on your way to other boxes or while running errands. Most of these boxes are in high traffic areas so some stealth is required. My suggestion park your car, retrieve the box and bring it back to the car, stamp, log, and then return the box to its resting place.

The Sail-By letterbox is located at Wolfe Park in Monroe CT

Box has no ink, please bring your own

Clues:

Drive into the “additional area” park lot, also know as the non-sticker lot.

Drive straight in and find the two touching tree bearing a white X each.

Here beneath these trees spot some rocks, in a split between these rocks you will find the sail-by letterbox.

NOTE: I placed this prior to spring and did not notice the thorny stems growing, you will want to be careful when retrieving this box, try approaching from its right side

Please recover this stamp very well…Enjoy-may the faerie dust lighten your day!

That’s all folks…the CT Quickies Series is now done, I hope you had fun with the Baker's dozen of surprises!
