All three boxes reported missing. :(. We moved out of state, so no plans to replace anytime soon
2010 has been a year of change for me, and this letterbox was inspired by this change...
Your hunting ground is Richard J. Hansen Park in New Brighton. Enter the park at 5th Street NW and 16th Avenue NW and park in the lot. You will see a baseball field just next to the parking lot; head towards the ballfield. Locate and walk along the gravel path that runs next to the field. Cross the boardwalk and resume walking on the gravel path as it runs behind some muggle houses. You will notice a lone tree in the middle of a field. Head towards this tree and search at the base, where you will find our friend Celeste Caterpillar hiding...
After stamping in and rehiding Box #1, continue walking along the gravel path. Cross the bridge on your right and enter the woods. You will soon come to another boardwalk. Celeste has chosen this unusual spot to spin her cocoon -- look under the boardwalk near the base of the tree and you will find it.
After stamping in and rehiding Box #2, cross the boardwalk and follow the path for about 10 minutes until you come out into a parking lot by baseball field 3. See the concrete path that runs adjacent to the ballfield? Resume your walk along this path heading towards the garbage can and port-a-potty (no, you won't have to go in it.). Veer right on the path, then veer right again so that you are heading towards the bridge. Next to the bridge on the left, there are two trees in V formation; Celeste makes her winged debut at the base of the V.
After stamping in and rehiding Box #3, you can cross the bridge and continue along the path past the building and playground to return to your car.
