Level: easy (15-20 Minutes)
Directions:
Tessabelle and T-Rex part 1 is planted in Halfmoon at the Halfmoon-Crescent Park. Take I-87 North to exit 8 and take right onto Crescent-Fisher Ferry Rd. Go 1.8 miles and take a right onto Canal Rd. Park in the lot on your Left. If you hit Rte 9 you have gone too far.
Clue:
Face the river. Take the gravel path to the left out of the parking lot. You will come to a brown sign that says “Halfmoon-Cresent Park,” and there will be wooden posts. Go straight.
The path will curve to the right. Then you will follow the path as it goes to the left and under the bridge. When you come out from the bridge on the other side, STOP.
Turn to your left. You will see a hill that is covered in rocks. Right next to the wall of the bridge is a pile of large rocks. Look behind that pile next to the wall of the bridge you will find a flat rock that covers a big hole, and there you will find our letterbox. Please use care not pinch your fingers as you move the rock.
This is a great spot to throw a few rocks into the water. T-Rex can spend hours throwing rocks into the water.
