Reported missing on 7/19/12. Moved out of state so no plans to replace at this time. :(

This letterbox is hidden at the new Silverwood Park in New Brighton. I feel a personal affinity towards this park, as it is part of the Three Rivers Park District (though my Three Rivers handle comes from a different state...).

Enter the Park by the road and drive to the parking lot near the Visitor's Center. Walk around towards the back of the Visitor's Center and go down the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, next to the trash cans, turn right and walk down the path. You will soon pass some "bike" bike racks on your right hand side. Keep veering right along the path. Pass the bridge on your left. Pass the bench on your right. At the cluster of rocks, look down the hill towards the shoreline and you will see a picnic table. Find the easiest path down the hill (you may have to walk further along to the deer trail ahead, as the grasses will likely be overgrown in summertime). Proceed down the hill to the picnic table where "M" marks the spot. Turn right, and you will see a cluster of trees that look like they are about to jump into the lake. Go past these trees keeping the shoreline on your left until you reach a smooth rounded boulder on your left. Next to the boulder is a burned out log. The letterbox is hidden under this log.

Please remember to rehide the LB well and to stamp in discreetly. Thanks!!
