For a different kind of adventure, bring your swimming trunks for a dip in the Sunbeam Springs. The hot springs run into the river and are a fun spot to visit. It hasn't been a formal spot for taking a dip since the CCC days, but there were several people laying around the river on the day that I was there.

Difficulty: Super-easy
Clue: Head for the Sunbeam Springs, 11-12 miles east of Stanley on Highway 75. It's a small geological/historical sight right next to the highway.

Across the path from the outhouse you will find a large tree. There is a smaller tree next to it. You will find the prize you seek by that tree, nestled between two rocks on the river side of the tree.

Please re-cover well.
