When traveling from Marquette go north on Co Rd 550 approximately 26 miles. Just before you get into the small town of Big Bay turn left on Co Rd 510. It's a gravel road with many logging trucks, so use caution. Travel about 6.7 miles on Co Rd 510. You'll come to a bridge with a very small parking area alongside the road. Pull over and park here. There are large rocks at the trail head. Walk down to the river and take the foot path downstream. There are forks in the path but they all come back to the same trail. The trail follows the river downstream to a waterfall. The walk is about 15min with children. You'll cross to small bridges made of log. As you get closer to the falls, you'll climb up some rocks. On your right is a small firepit. Keep going on the path half way down the rocks. To your left there is a small pine tree surrounded by larger rocks. Look under the leaves at the base of this very young tree. You found it! Enjoy the beauty of this location and please don't litter.
