From I-81 North turn right until you come to Route 11 Congress Street. Start out going Southwest on S Congress St/Us-11 Start at
9403 S Congress St. is (on the right).

1.From the Public parking lot at historic New Market turn right and head south on Congress Street.

2.When you walk past Millie’s, sing “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”.

3.Stop at the front door at 9525 and do five Jumping JACKS.

4.Leave Congress and join the Confederate’s on their road on your left.

5.Take a left and get on Sevier’s path.

6.Walk past the place where you can send your friend a letter.

7.Take a right at John Sevier and Lee Street. Watch out for the dead end

8.Find the flag pole that stands in front of where you can check out books.

9.Enter the gates to Emmanuel’s Cemetery.

On May 15,1864 the historically significant Battle of New Market took place in which teenage cadets of Virginia Institute.

The battle of New Market Reenactment is a famous historical experience taking place on the original 1864 battlefield.

The chief title to the fame for New Market was won on Maybe15,1864.

The General Assembly of Virginia officially established the town of New Market on December 14,1796.

1. From the public parking lot at historic New Market head south but don’t pass any Bills on Congress
