Adult Clues

Starting point- the church’s main entrance next to the parking lot

1. Go across the street to the grave that first catches your eye.
2. An angel watches over the Miller gravestone. Go to the gravestone that is watched by an empty vase.
3. Every rose has its thorn. Mr. and Mrs. Bare have four roses. Go to the their gravestone and face it.
4. Walk right, and stop on the third gravestone in that row.
5. Straight ahead is a tall metal item that is not a gravestone. Walk to it.
6. Go towards the upright natural structure that produces enough oxygen for a family of four that is roughly at 12:00.
7. Now go to the building closest to the church.
8. Some call it a shrub, others a tree. I call it a thornless hiding place to the west of the pastor’s office in the same general area as the bench.

Directions on how to get to the church from interstate 81

1. Start out going northeast on N Valley Pike/US-11 toward VA-259.
2. Turn left onto VA-259.
3. Turn left onto E Lee ST/VA-259/VA-42. Continue to follow VA-259
4. Turn left onto Hopkins Gap RD but be sure to stop by Turner Hams Store. It is ordinary looking store that happens to sell some extraordinary hams. Gridstone Mountain Proscuitto is a hamlike delicacy from Fulks Run.
5. Turn right onto 3rd Hill Rd.
6. On 12769 Third Hill Rd, The Mountain Grove Church is nestled between the Little North and the Shenandoah Mountains. The mission statement is- We are a Bible believing body of Christ united in love, seeking to win souls for Christ by spreading the gospel throughout the community.
