Okay so everyone remembers the movie “You’ve Got Mail” (1998) with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan right? If you haven’t seen it you should rent it though I will warn you it is a total chick flick but with a love of books and NYC (two of my favorites)

You will find there are two starting options. Like the movie is choose the "more obvious" one, but beware, like the movie, it's a "busy and happening place".

Once in the parking lot, look left past the PO boxes and walk along the building. You'll have to take a moment to look about and find the path that goes past 'Where the Sidewalk Ends' and into the next lot. It has 4 stone steps.

As you walk along and think of all the things you'll write in your letter/email walk up the 2 steps and hang a right to the crosswalk. Cross the street into the 'sunrise' but be sure you're under 15mph. Then you'll know you've gone the right way.

Have your thoughts ready? It's time for 'deliveries' to your recipients.

Winding through the internet cables and sending your thoughts walk all the way out to the road to check for mail of your own in the green 'telecommunications' box. Could your prize be near here? Let's look.

Bummer, no mail today. Return to the start while thinking of what to write next. It would be easy to come back the way you came, but once you find the 'light for 36' you'll know you're on your way while you 'stop the poison' of your love letter gone awry.

As you meander back there are '3 orange arrows' to help point you in the right direction. You've already been down 2 of these paths. Let's try a new one.

Much like checking the green 'mailbox' before at the corner, there's another here. Could you prize be near here? Let's look.

Walking through our own 'Fall in NYC' you can enjoy the bird preserve to your left and find the water filters down below, another metal cover, that's brown this time will help point you in the right direction. Step off the path and down to the right to get a better view of the water over the dead blackberry brambles.

While taking it in, turn behind you and see a small cluster of 5 juvenile trees to claim your prize.

Please be discreet and replace as I did to conceal the letterbox and return to the path to follow the 'bumps' and cross again. You're nearly back as you hang a right and log a mile off your day's walk. Good job!

Happy Hunting!
