Drive down Short Beach Road in Branford, pass a firehouse on the left and just before a manatee you will see a fenced parking area for FARM RIVER STATE PARK.Park in the parking area, and head left through the fence opening, and down a wide gravel path. When you come to a clearing, pass a conjoined tree on your right and follow the hiker sign down and to the right. Follow far into the path until you cross a wooden bridge instead of taking a right to follow the trail look on your left for a pile of logs. Step over the logs and continue down about 100 feet.Carefuly cross the stream (don't get wet!)Be sure to keep your eyes open and Soon you will see above in the tree a piece of twine with a pinecone on one end and a white shell on the other. This is a sign that you are so close to the letterbox. There will be a conjoined tree about 10 steps ahead on your left look in between the tree there it will be in a plastic container hanging from the tree tied from a twine. If you are lucky enough to find this you may take a red heart or shell to remember the red heart letter box. Don't forget to sign in. Good Luck
