Be prepared for a strenuous 4 hour hike. Bring plenty of water. A walking stick is recommended especially for the way back down. Very steep.

Start from the top of the hill of the Get Your Bearings LB. From the Southern fence @ 23 degrees there's a little deer's trail. Hike up to the top of the 1st "S" curve.Have a look of the view. There is a small copse of trees/brush @ 139. SkyLine High is @ 227, and the trail continues @ 315. Look down, there is a large fist sized rock that is gray with white stripes. The first micro-box is underneath.

Moving onward. Follow the trail as it wends its way upward. Stop where have your first good glimpse of the city. Face 315. It should look like as if I-215 were to continue straight up the hill you'd be in the middle of it. There's a crop of stones 3 yards away @72. You should be standing next to a bluish rock flat to the ground. I like to bury things. Oops that one's too heavy. Try the little one a yard away @29.

And off to the last LB. Up, up, up until we connect to the Bonneville shoreline trail. Turning left should have a bearing of 349. Continue upward, through a grassy knoll @35. Up, up, and up we come to a "T" intersection. Choose UP towards the rock garden. Don't miss the switch-back @101. Up, up, up some more. Finally the trail dissolves into grass, gravel, and rock. I choose to lean against a black sheet of rock covered in teal lichens. Then I duly noted:

Where 33rd S becomes 35th S; due west
Top of Mt Olympus: 159
Copper colored building; 251
SkyLine High; 201
Point of the mountain; 169
