There's a Monster at the End of this Letterbox LbNA #52984 (ARCHIVED)

There is a monster that lives in the Clinton River Park. Now it is your turn to find him. You will want to start at the sign that says Clinton River Park 40000 (The eastern-most entrance to the Dodge Park trails). There is something you should know about this monster: He only traveled one marker per year of his life and he only lived to his sixth birthday…anyway let’s get started with directions. After you go down the steep path you come to a fork in the road. You can take either way but right is quicker. After the fork DO NOT go off the concrete path because 1. You could get lost. 2. You could accidentally rub against some poison ivy. 3. There are still some monsters lurking in the woods. After the fork continue on your walk. You need to look to the left for the petrified tree with a face that ate the monster. Just like cookies, monsters get eaten or eventually disappear. The remains of the monster should still be in its mouth but be careful because even the petrified can come unpetrified sometimes. What monster did the tree eat? (HINT who likes cookies?) WARNING there may be some problems for the vertically challenged and the area may become flooded.
