This is one of six Memorial Day boxes. They are temporary and will be available until mid June.

FOB Shank, Logar Province, Afghanistan
March 22, 2010

It’s easy to just be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The Taliban have no rules of engagement (ROE) and they certainly have no regard for life, no matter how young.

As children were playing near coalition soldiers that were dismounted in a local village, someone in the village tossed a grenade over a mud wall sending grenade fragments into the young children. (note: no-one knows their age in rural Afghanistan - they guesstimate based on the crop cycles)

Clues:
Begin at the parking lot in Ryan Park in Pewaukee. Take the main trail north east out of the parking lot.

Continue straight past the first T intersection. At the second T intersection turn right.

At the four-way intersection turn left into the woods. Look for a group of large rocks on the left about two hundred yards past the intersection.

From the rocks along the trail walk into the woods at 330° to another group of large rocks. From the second group of rocks head to an uprooted tree at 30°. Look beneath the large rock that is next to the base of the uprooted tree.
