The Ghostly Wedding occured 4-1-2010, at Telge Park, joining IRA Boxer and Miss Oonie Andrews. This couple was introduced by LB Bozo, and their love brought them to the most beautiful place in Texas for a wedding (Cypress). Now rumor has it that IRA was still married, thus now has 2 wives in the afterlife. The wedding celebration lasted all weekend, with all the goblins in Telge Park joining in on the festivities. And instead of pictures, there was left a letterbox, with the bride and grooms photo (though you will see ghosts do not photograph well). Enjoy the box, and wish IRA well, as he and Bozo may both be on the run soon.
Directions:
From Hwy 290, Take the Telge Road exit and go toward the school. Cross Cypress North Housto, then Cypress creek. After the creek, take first right and right again into parking for the park. Park.
To the Letterbox:
Walk into the park throught he gate, and left through the open woods to the wooden bridge. Cross the bridge and go left. At intersection, go left, and at trail split take the left route. When you reach the American Elm marker (on right) at the next trail junction, keep going straight. You will pass a tree in the middle of the trail, then eventually come to a more open area just before the trail splits around a tree clump. Look right and spot the green and white equipment fenced in down the path on the right. Walk that way until you reach a 6 foot high pole and manhole cover. From the pipe, go right into the woods and right again to the 1st pine tree. Box behind that pine on ground under stick pile.
