This is a pet-friendly letterbox adventure. No cost required. To begin your letterbox search, you will want to park in the dirt parking area along Tuscarora lake, at the intersection of Hardscrabble Rd and Erieville Rd. In Erieville ( you may want to mapquest this).
Upon parking, cross the street and go over the guard rail. You are going follow the dyke for about 250/300 yards. Now be sure to watch for geese poo!You may want to stop at the bench located on the bend and admire the beauty of the lake.
When you are ready to continue go to the wooden bridge. Walk all the way across the bridge. On your left, you should see stones that look like stairs.(Small children should hold on to mom and dads hand.) Follow the stone steps to the last step. Turn around and face the bridge. Under the stone to the left is what you came to Erieville for. Be sure to reseal tightly and carefully conceal it.
If you would like to continue your search,hop in your car and continue up the side of the lake towards Erieville. About a 1/4 mile up, is Kay's Country Store. Some cool treats are located inside the door on the left.
