This is in honor of the Original Yankee Stadium. I made a trip out from California to experience a game in the stadium before it was demolished.
It is located in a parking garage directly across from the new stadium at East 162nd and River. When I planted the box parking was $17 per vehicle so I recommend using the subway And walking into the garage (discreetly!). The sign said that it closed 1 hour after the game but that wasn't the case when I was there.
Enter the Garage on River directly across from the New Stadium. Once in the garage find the most Northern Stairway - head up to the 2nd floor.
Once at the 2nd Floor travel South and find the steel "I beams" marked D2 C2. Count 5 beams and stop. The box is tucked away in a little concrete nook and isn't secured very well. Depending on how the cars are parked at the time it might be hard to get to as well. So please be respectful.
