(If you find any problems with this box or wish to share any successes, etc., please email Annette at ARoseLb@aol.com.)

My mom grew up in a rural community called Round Butte, Montana (fondly called Round Butt by all her children). When her folks' store (and post office) burned down, it wasn't rebuilt. The butte itself is now privately owned, part of someone's farm. This letterbox is in honor of my mom, her family and the people of Round Butte.

CLUES: Follow Round Butte Rd west from Ronan about 7 ½ miles. Pass the butte on your right, where a Methodist Church was once located. You will see the old grade school/high school on your right (which is privately owned) and the former church (moved down from the hill, converted into a Grange Hall, and now abandoned) on your left. The letterbox is hidden there. Find the basement window which is covered by plywood with about a 6 inch metal strip at the bottom. The letterbox is between the window and the metal.

Happy hunting!
