County N south of Kennan about 7 miles watch for the sign
Very rocky path, maybe a difficult walk for some, great views

park by the picnic shelter and walk towards the river sight
walk the path along the river going down stream (path on the right)
follow the river as it goes around the bend then levels out,
and goes around another bend here it flows northerly about
find four cement stairs to walk down, the top step has a tree growing on it
on the bottom step notice 2 big pines, the left one you can touch but not sit
the other in rocks it lurch
find the rock being held up by the double scruffy birch
between the two rocks is the prize you search
if you can’t find the four steps
look for the large set of steps going upward but don’t mount
about 47 steps back the way you came you should count
see a large pine showing its roots and a sign of a great account

to get back to the parking lot you may go up the stairs and walk down the road keeping right
