James River Park - Huguenot Woods (Huguenot Flatwater)
Easy Hike - Flat and Short (Less than 10 minutes)
Box was moved to current location on July 12, 2004, due to previous location being filled with mud everytime it rained.
You can get to this section of the James River Park System by going on Huguenot Road. Get off at the Riverside exit. Either way you come, from the north or south, you will take a left on Riverside. Take a right on Southhampton Road and enter the park on the right.
At the information kiosk, take the trail that heads upriver.
Cross the bridge.
At the fork, go right.
Notice the cement wall on your left.
At the next fork go left.
Continue till you see a sign that says 'Stop, leaving park property'. With your back toward the sign, look for a small rock wall on the hill. The letterbox is on the left side of the wall behind a flat rock.
Please make sure you can not see the letterbox after you rehide it. (Use leaves to cover box.)
