At 3406 S Crestwood drive there is a service road leading up to a pair of water towers. Go to the towers and around the fence to the west side of the towers, and a beautiful view of the valley.
If you were standing on the box a "NO TRESPASSING" sign would bear 89 degrees. The I-215, I-80, 33rd S, Wasatch BLVD interchange would be due west, and you'd be standing between two graffittied rocks.
The LB is sheltered by the smaller of the two, and is well buried to prevent washing away in the spring run-off.
Please leave it as well(or better) buried than you found it.
Happy Hunting!
