This box was created for the Summer Girls Olivia, Emma and Kate and their stepsisters Julia and Sophie by their Granny...all of whom enjoy chasing rainbows!

Follow the clues below to find what's at the end of this rainbow.

At the intersection of routes 87 and 66 in the center of Columbia head east toward Lebanon. As you head down a slight hill take the first left onto Szegda Road. At the stop sign go left again.

Follow Szegda Rd. past the farmhouse and barns on left and the red Columbia Open Space sign on right. Going up the hill look on right for an Upper Trails sign on a wooden post at the entrance to a parking area. You are there.

After parking find a small opening in a stone wall and go to the trail map(it's NOT at the end of the lot). From here go left on the purple trail.

Follow the purple blazes until you see a yellow trail marker on the left(double blazes indicate a turn in the trail). Take this yellow trail. Very soon will be a yellow LOOP sign pointing left and right. Take the left trail going uphill following the yellow blazes.

Before you reach the summit of the rocky ridge look for a large boulder about 3 feet high standing alone in the brush on the left.

Just past this boulder also on the left side of the trail is a five sister tree(just like our sisters!). Behind that tree and under a flat stone is what you're looking for.

CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE REACHED THE END OF THE RAINBOW!!

After stamping please carefully replace the box and the stone. Either continue on the yellow loop or go back down the hill and resume the purple tail back to the parking lot.

Did you catch a glimpse of the leprechauns?
