BEGIN at the Kathleen Clay Family Branch Library: 1420 Price Park Rd., Greensboro, NC 27408

From the library lot, you can head towards the lake,
But I’m warning you now that your life is at stake.

If you fear not the forest, you can tread on the path
That is paved with black asphalt, and venture my wrath.

On your left is the place where the innocents lunch,
If you want me, keep walking, but your bones may go crunch.

Do you dare to go further? The forest draws near.
Are you brave? Do you falter? I can always smell fear.

They call me arachnid, for they’ve counted my legs,
So look to your left, count that number of pegs.

If you want to uncover my secretive lair,
Stop here, look around you, but I’ve warned you—beware!

To the right of the path, find the rotting old log,
Look low and you’ll find me, the great Aragog!
