Zwxtr Trilogy

Volume One: Zwxtr Contact

(4-2009 confirmed still active)

(4-2004 replaced with a hand-carved stamp due to vandalism; clue mildly revised)

WATCH OUT FOR POISON IVY AT CACHE LOCATION

Horsham Power Line Trail

Take 611 into Horsham and turn onto Route 563 (Horsham Rd). At first light make left on Dresher Rd. After about 1 mile and after about a 100 yard past the entrance to Lukens Park, make a right off of Dresher into the small parking area with Horsham Power Line Trail sign

Letterbox is along the paved path. Bikes or rollerblades recommended. (1 hour). Walk (2 hours)
Observe CAUTION when crossing roads!

Dimensional Entry #fla#:

A scattering of quantum flashes highlight the evaporation of the spatial rift around me. Residual infralight washes over my central torso, tickling my photolets. Coming fully to my senses, I magna-glide with haste into a rectangle of local infranoise. I must evaluate this unregistered alien world discreetly if my scouting report is to be objective and accurate.

First things first, I launch a singularity beacon into the gloom, so that this world can be located again for return visits. Nvvlnyk! Now I can focus on memorizing my sense observations. Hmm, quite the colorless world; the path glows warmly enough, but the periphery is full of ghostly shadows.
The path before me reminds me of the START zone for the annual ptara-ptara relays. To my left stands #fla# shadowy cylinder about the size of an average Zwxtr tendril-span and #fla# larger square prism. If my cilia nodules detect correctly, the objects are emitting trace amounts of gaseous organics—very unusual!

My posterior optical bud detects metallic vines above. I count #evvetta# vines in number, each stretching off into the distance. They pulse with the life-force. With my tendrils extended, I tumble along the infra path keeping close watch above. The vines are anchored upon towering Monoliths at regular intervals. Residual life-force thrums in each Monolith. Could I have actually stumbled upon a pulsing world? The path is surrounded by tall, haunting objects which play tricks on my buds in the supralight. I will stay in the more comfortable infranoise of the path.

I tumble along, several times crossing larger paths, but I always remain straight, fascinated with the possibilities of the Monoliths. Swiftly, yet observing caution at every tumble, I follow the metallic vines which seem to generally follow this narrow path. After much tumbling, the infrapath deadends suddenly at planetary, silicon-laden soil, the root element of life as the Zwxtr know it.

Vlzzmar! Having passed so many Monoliths, it’s about time that I take a closer look at one. Here at the path’s end is a Monolith away from the ghostly shadows. It renders well from the touch of my frontal tendrils. At the its base many metallic roots fasten the Monolith to the ground; each root has #snikta# smooth sides. Interestingly, the Monolith itself has #raefta# sides. Is it mere coincidence that Zwxtr life radiates in similar patterns? Not my mission to make such judgments; still to see the patterns of living things: what excitement! I magna-glide to the top of this Monolith’s weak magnetic field to gain perspective. What an amazing creature it would be that extended on for such a distance.

Experiential memory capacity is nearly full. I must keep some on reserve for homeward computations.
I will finish my mission. The “constellation marker” must be placed in the unlikelihood that this planet contains intelligent life. Playfully, I reduce this world’s life-force to a single number: LIFE-FORCE equals #raefta# minus #snikta# plus #evetta# minus #fla#.

Swiftly, I glide back toward my arrival point. I count each Monolith, including the very last Monolith along the infrapath. At the Monolith correlating with LIFE-FORCE, I drop to the ground. And here within the base of the Monolith I will place the “constellation code,” a simple star map that a sentient mind ought to grasp. Should I return, this star configuration will play an important role in establishing further contact

(((((((((((((((((Important Aside: Recent deciphered video threads show that Elwood Knauf (see Zwxtr Volume 2) relocated the cache since the location was at risk of being discovered by others. Video data corroborated by GPS fixes indicate the cache was moved 12 meters at 280 degrees from the original location, placed covertly between a white rock and a black rock, possibly behind some plant growth))))))))))))))))

Mission complete, I initiate the dimensional rift with the requisite memory cipher. My tendrils stiffen slightly, as the rift unfolds in front of me, quantum flashes spiral outward. Frzlyr! I sense the fresh polarity of home. Hopefully, the data I’ve collected will be useful and will warrant a return visit to this strange world.
