Letterboxing in the winter in the Adirondacks is not a easy thing to do.Many boxes are inaccessible because they are buried beneath snow and ice.

We visit family in Keene Valley every winter and it is one of our favorite places.

To leave our mark here we decided to place our Letterbox in a perfect spot for this time of year. One that is indoors and open all year round.

In Keene Valley there are a number of historic buildings.
This one was built in 1896
Located on Rt. 73 across from the Nature Conservancy and the church
It is open September through june Tuesdays,Thursdays and Saturdays
June through August it is open Monday to Saturday

enter this building and head towards the rear
turn left at the bathroom and find #796.58

On the way out say hi to some one who's initial are "KG"
