*** Can be reached by skiing or by road
The "Ski Breckenridge" minibox is located on Peak 8 of the ski sloaps of Breckenridge ski resort. We stayed in a house just down the street from the ski in/out slope off the terrain park. Except for the altitude, this is tops on my list of places to ski!
Directions:
Skiing: From base of Peak 8, take the "Twister" lift to the top. When exit, go left to "Trygve's Terrain Park". Ski down the right edge of the run to where the Terrain park starts (a rise with flags). Go down on the right edge, passing the metal 1st jump and rail. Soon after this on the right is a rail fence (with a house back behind it). The rail fence goes about 4 sections. Stop at the beginning of the rail. Now count 3 pine trees to the right of the end fo the rail (one small, then a large one, then another small one). The 3rd tree is held up by 3 supports. Go to this tree, and find box hanging just below the supports near the trunk.
Road: You would take 4 O'clock road up, then have to do some swish backs. Look at map and you can figure it out.
