Clues

Walking distance: 2/3 mile round trip
Trail difficulty: easy

The answers to the questions in the clues for this webbox are located in Sequoia National Park in central California. Letterboxes are not allowed to be physically placed in national parks. So, I have created this webbox. You must actually visit the area of the clues; however, you need to go to the Web to obtain your finders stamp and sign the log book.

Enter Sequoia National Park, drive to the Giant Forest area, and park in the main lot across the highway from the museum.

Walk across the highway and past the museum to the “Trail Center” which is some informational signs in a structure without walls under a roof. One of the signs is titled “Giant Forest Trails”. In the top left paragraph, in the second line, what is the seventh word?

Walk on the paved Big Trees Trail. The trail will cross the highway. Continue on the Big Trees Trail. Look for an interpretive sign titled “Sun Worshipers”. In the bottom left paragraph, in the third line, what is the third word?

To create the mystery word, put the word from the second question on the end of the word from the first question (without spaces). Paste the mystery word into this URL (replacing the question marks “???” with the mystery word):

http://members.cox.net/azroadie66/???.html

Now, plug/paste the new URL into your web browser and you will have completed your search for the Sequoia Park Webbox.

Please record your find at www.letterboxing.org/ or at www.atlasquest.com/ .
