This box is dedicated to a wonderful woman who has done a great deal for the city of Kilgore. The title of this box refers to the stars on the oil derricks located through out Kilgore that light up the night around Christmas. It is also the offical nickname of Kilgore (City of Stars).

This box is located at Synergy Park in Kilgore.
Directions- From I20 take exit 589 S to Kilgore, take 259 S, Synergy Park will be on the left.

Park in the lot.
You must the locate the pavilion named for the wonderful woman mentioned above.
Walk through the pavilion, down the stairs toward the lake.
Turn right on the trail and head for the bench.
After the bench, count 5 rocks on the left (or 30 steps)
There will be a skinny tree on your left. At the base of the tree is a hole.
You will find the box there.
There is a prize for first finder!

This is a beautiful park, so enjoy your time and walk around. There are a few other boxes here as well.
It is also a great place to picnic, if you bring a lunch. Just watch out for ants.
