Your goal awaits in Rome's E.U.R. (Esposizione Universale Roma), Rome's modern business/government district. It is easily accessible by car only a block parallel to the Via Cristoforo Colombo, as well as Line B of the Rome Metro and Roma-Lido. You might want to search early in the morning or in the evening to be less conspicuous.
This box was planted during the 2009 Magic: The Gathering World Championships. Bring your own ink, red would be preferable, but red, green & black marker would be ideal.
Clue:
Locate Viale Shakespeare. Walk south along the eastern side of the street. You are looking for a tree that I'm sure Shakespeare would have poetically compared to a phoenix rising from the ashes of its former life. If you come to Viale America you have gone too far. Reach into an opening in the original trunk to find your treasure.
