As parents of 2 toddlers, our television viewing habits have quickly changed to mainly watching three television channels: PBS, NickJr, and Disney Channel!
Many of the shows on these channels don’t interest us, but some have some interesting looking characters. Our daughter’s favorite show is no exception to this statement. Yo Gabba Gabba, on NickJr. has to have some of the strangest, most colorful looking characters on TV, but after watching several of the shows, they really have a great message! Looks aren’t everything…Right???

This series was carved for our kids, and the trail and clues are VERY kid friendly (our 3 year old picked out most of the spots), although an adult will need to tag along and open those child proof caps :) Also PLEASE beware this area can be highly contaminated with muggles, and although the Yo Gabba Gabba friends would say “Be nice to everyone”, please make sure to hide the boxes well, and keep from being seen. With this in mind, there is only one log book in the last box.

In one of our favorite episodes Jack Black guest stars and gets lost in Yo Gabba Gabba world, and talks about “It’s not fun to get lost and not know where you’re going”, so we hope you can use these clues to help Jack find all of his Yo Gabba Gabba Friends! It’s ok…. “Try it you’ll like it!!”

Head to Bennett Park, enter under the huge archway with the park name on it, and park in the 3rd/last parking area, the one by the second playground set. You will start on the trail by this playground set toward 2 very large rocks.

Our first friend, Toodee, likes to play a game where she listens to sounds and encourages the viewer to helper identify it. So as Toodee walks along the path she hears what sounds like a fire truck. Up ahead she spots the fireman’s tool. She decides to go straight 32 steps and hides in the tree on the right. (Toodee is blue)

As we continue on the trail there is a tempting spot to sit, but we will continue straight. In our next episode we are learning that “It’s ok to be different”, and our friend Plex always helps us with basic skills in 4 easy steps…today he will help us find a letterbox! As you continue on the trail Step 1. Look on the left for a “tree” that is different from the rest. Step 2. Find the address of the clean man Step 3. Continue on the path for 55 steps Step 4. Look to the left to see some different trees hugging. Your box is located at the base between the arm and the large tree. See, it’s ok to be different! (Plex is yellow)

Brobee is the next friend we are looking for. Brobee likes to have the viewers guess what color he is thinking of by the examples he gives. So when you continue on the trail and get to your next choice we will play Brobee’s game. Brobee’s clues are Birds, Bells, and Sky. If your answer is Green you will go across the bridge, sit on the bench, and look at the base of the large tree in front of you. If your answer is Blue, you will go left toward the fence, sit on the bench, and look at the base of the large tree in front of you. (Brobee is green). It’s ok if you didn’t get that one right away, our Yo Gabba Gabba friends would say “Keep Trying, Keep Trying, Don’t Give up, Don’t ever give up!”

Continue on the paved path where we will meet Muno. Muno encourages viewers to pretend along with him, as he imagines himself as various creatures and objects. So when you get to the next bench, sit down and look ahead. Muno thinks he is a raccoon hiding in the base of that tree! (Muno is red)

Our next friend Foofa likes to play games like solving puzzles, and mind benders, so you will need to solve her puzzle for your next clue: 2+3+4+5+6+7+8=? When you get to your next choice stay straight and go ? steps. On the right there is a tree that has a base great for Foofa, but she wanted to keep walking. So now go 3 X ? = steps until you notice 2 friends a bit deeper in the woods that are holding hands. You will see that the one on the right has an Ouchy on its side. Check there for Foofa (Foofa is pink).

“Well Friends do you know what time it is? It’s almost time to go” But before we go we have time for one more! Just before you get to the next/last bench you will see a very curvy tree on the left. You will want to check its base because “There’s a party in its tummy!” (I would suggest taking this away from where you found it, to stamp in…the bench would be perfect---- also I have had a couple people that have not been able to find this box based on the clues, and since i know that finding all of these and not being able to stamp in is SUPER frustrating here is some help if you don't find it--- If you make it all the way to the bench, head back the way you came 35 steps and you should be right in front of the tree ... it will now be on your right, and probably won't look super curvy from this angle)

Thank you for helping Jack find all his new friends. We would love to hear about your adventures in Yo Gabba Gabba land!
